    The Engineering Department houses a state of the art Transportation Management Center (TMC). The TMC utilizes hardware and software for managing traffic signal timings for the 37 traffic signals operating within Gahanna's Jurisdiction. Thoroughfare Plan Updates, Traffic Engineering Studies, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) development are all within the department's purview.
