Each June, the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival attracts over 70,000 people for three days for music, arts & crafts, food, rides and family fun. It has been called the "crown jewel in Gahanna's civic event crown" by a local newspaper. In July, the 4th of July Freedom Festival provides fireworks, a parade, great music, family outdoor activities and more. This day-long Independence celebration is one of the best in the region. The Gahanna Flea Market is held every September. And, finally, in what is considered to be the largest single day holiday event in Central Ohio, Gahanna Holiday Lights! is the only night-time lighted parade in Central Ohio.
